1. Are all of the soaps Luisa sells hand crafted?

Yes. Each individual soap bar we sell is hand crafted. We design and produce our soap bars ourselves. We do not use any machinery - only household kitchen equipment.

2. What is the difference between Luisa's hand crafted soaps and regular soap I get in any store?

There are many differences. The main difference is the ingredients. Most soap bars you buy in any store are produced in high volume. "Store soap" typically consists of low grade materials. The cost of each bar has to cover the expenses of maintaining industrial production facilities and of advertising. In addition, the soap goes through a selling chain that involves distributors and wholesalers before it is actually sold to the store, each element in this chain has their own profit. Therefore, when you buy a bar of soap in the store only a small fraction of the cost is associated with its ingredients. Our handmade soap is sold directly to our customers. This allows us to invest most of the cost of our soap bars in their ingredients. We use only high grade pure essential oils. We only use Italian food grade olive oil, and top quality coconut and palm oil. This way when you buy a bar of soap from us, you pay for what's in it.

3. Do the soap bars include any animal-based ingredients?

Very few of our soap contain milk (for example the Pastels). Other than that we never use any animal based ingredients in any of our soaps, and the soaps are "vegan".

4. Are the soap bars natural?

Unlike some home based soap manufacturers that focus on a single type of soap, we have made a significant initial investment resulting in a diverse line of handmade soap bars. We make all-natural soap bars such as our Geranium Rose Hip bar and our Grapefruit Patchouli bar. We also make soap bars that are all natural apart from fraction of a drop of colorant, and make other soaps that are only partly natural, in order to obtain a unique aesthetic appearance. However, even our partly natural soaps are light years from store-soap. All of our soap bars are labeled with the list of ingredients (also available on our online store for each individual bar) sorted by the amount used.

5. Are your soap bars safe to use?

All of our soap bars are safe to use. Being a family business, we have tested all of our products in our own home, and we only use Luisa's products ourselves. As with any other care product, customers that may experience allergic reactions should first consult the ingredient lists before use.

6. What is Ultra Age^TM Music?

Ultra Age^TM music is the sheer sound of tranquility. We composed, played, produced, and recorded this music here at Luisa. Ultra Age^TM Music is an ethnic blend of musical influences. All calm and relaxing.

7. Why do you sell soap and music together?

Our goal is to provide our customers tranquility and relaxation from the fast-paced lives that we all live today. We pour all of our atristic and professional skills into our products to achieve this. Using our bath products while listening to our music is the ultimate calm experience. We also find that we can maintain tranquility throughout the day by listening to our relaxing music at work, home, and in the car. Combining hand-crafted soap with Ultra Age^TM music also makes the perfect gift.

Yes. We offer beautiful gift packages for any occasion. We also provide personalized and custom-made gifts on request. Please contact us.

9. What is your return policy?

We gladly accept returned damaged products. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for other reasons due to the nature of our products. However, if you have a special need we will listen to you - we always make our customers happy.
